Beyond the Agenda: Designing an Environment Where Conversations Matter

The 2nd Roche Haemophilia Experts Forum was created to bring healthcare professionals together in an environment designed for meaningful learning, collaboration and the exchange of clinical expertise. Hosted over two days at Blaauwberg Beach Hotel in Cape Town, the programme combined an intimate dinner presentation with a full-day conference, welcoming 80 doctors, specialists and nursing professionals.

For Roche, the event represented more than a conference. It reflected an ongoing commitment to supporting the haemophilia community and creating opportunities for experts to share knowledge that ultimately benefits patients.

For The SOURCE, it was an opportunity to deliver a fully integrated event experience.

Our team managed the project from end to end, overseeing every stage of the delegate journey—from coordinating flights, transfers and accommodation through to venue management, conference logistics, stage and set design, audiovisual production, branded collateral, décor and carefully considered guest experiences.

Every element was intentionally designed to support the event's purpose. The conference environment reflected Roche's campaign, Changing the Narrative for Patients with Haemophilia A, creating visual consistency across the stage, presentation spaces and delegate touchpoints. Elegant table styling, thoughtful lighting design and cohesive branding ensured the experience remained professional, welcoming and engaging throughout.

While delegates focused on sharing expertise and advancing important clinical conversations, every logistical detail operated seamlessly behind the scenes.
